It looks like a regular 2A bracket, yet the the first 200 or so 2As off the assembly line had a rear bracket with extra material and two holes in it like the one in this pic.I found in my archive on my mac this very interesting picture about the bottom of the body of one CJ2A VEC of 1946. Most of the wear on this assembly is in the straight ahead position for obvious reasons. That is why for set up/adjustment you turn it to the mid/high position. Tire is a 16/700. The tread of the tire is flush with the outside of the passenger side of the tub. We pull a M416 trailer with this Jeep. Don't gloss over the last sentence in 48willys reply. '50 CJ3A "Bucksnort".The maximum efficient RPM for a G0-Devil is the same as the maximum torque output @ 2100 RPM. With standard 29" tall tires the pre 1963 CJ's will optimally cruise at 35 MPH.
